David E. Piver founded the Law Offices of David E. Piver in 1994. He holds a law degree from Villanova University and a Master’s Degree from Cornell University. He has worked with foreign and U.S. government officials and corporations, establishing business relations and assisting individuals and organizations solve a variety of immigration problems. Mr. Piver lived in Shanghai, China for nearly four years and speaks fluent Mandarin Chinese. He is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the Pennsylvania Bar, and the Philadelphia Bar Association. He is admitted to Federal Practice in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Circuit Courts of Appeal. His precedent Federal cases include:
Fiadjoe v. Attorney General, 411 F.3d 135 (3d Cir. 2005); and
Shah v. Attorney General 04-3607 (3rd. Cir. Apr. 28, 2006).
Mr. Piver has over 12 years of experience in all areas of immigration law, including labor certification, permanent residency (“Green Card”), and temporary work visas for professionals, religious workers, entertainers, athletes, among others. He is also proud to represent numerous world class athletes in extreme sports including BMX, Motocross, and Snowboarding. He also assists corporations with intra-company transfers, and assists companies from around the world establish U.S. offices, branches etc. in the U.S., and assists international students obtain visas, J-waivers, employment authorization, change status or otherwise transition into employment status. He has also assisted many individuals and firms in the science, business, IT, entertainment, and academia disciplines obtain work authorization and U.S. permanent residency, including those scientists, artists, athletes, scholars and other individuals of extraordinary ability who seek permanent residency in the U.S., without a job offer, in order to pursue their unique talents.
